Dear DA friends, it is true I haven’t been much around this year, not only on DA, but also on other cg galleries and social media.
This year, due to a painful health problem experience (thanks goodness it is GONE!), I had to put things in perspective and re-think lots of things about my life, including approach to work.
I can say all the fear and pain I went through were reverted into positive insights and learning about myself, life and others.
As natural consequence of things set to perspective and re-thinking, I have also changed my website (for the thousandth time! LOL) and hosted it again on Tumblr. Changed also its layout and the layout of Canvas Noir, the blog where I upload more dark stuff.
I am also not taking any more private commissions – until further notice. I am also not able to attend any indie authors looking for book covers at the moment, until further notice as well. (Unless you have already worked with me, then I can open an exception.)
I will also make a clean-up in my DA gallery, and have fewer, selected works. If I delete a work you have faved, please, don’t get mad ^.^
ART COLLAB – ARTISTIC COLLABORATION IN THE DIGITAL ERA - In the beginning of this year an art book I worked with/authored was published by Mad Artist Publishing (www.madartistpublishing.com ). You can find the sales links + lots of nice info about this project on its blog: www.bookartcollab.tumblr.com/ - If you’re interested in reviewing this book, let me know and I can send you a printed review copy. (Only serious proposals will be accepted.) Send me a private note.
THE NIGHT OF ELISA – a short story that I wrote 2 years ago (The XIIIth Hour at Duskland) has evolved into an illustrated novella of 55K words. Now, “The Night of Elisa” is being finished editing by Clare Diston in UK and I am finishing to paint the characters and other illustrations of this book.
It is a Gothic/Ghost story with lots of unexpected twists and original plot! I will share some of the concepts along the next month and post more news about the publishing date and format anytime soon!
If you want to download the original short story in which “The Night of Elisa” is based – you can do it at Amazon and it is FREE: www.amazon.com/dp/B00E7P2HVE - if you wish other formats for e-reading, get it on Smashwords for free as well: www.smashwords.com/books/view/…
That’s all for now, folks! Enjoy life ^.^
